Chateau Dusseau opened its doors in the Spring of 2006, co-founded by brothers Robert and Stephen Dusseau.
Long time farmers and hobbyist wine makers, it was only a matter of time before Stephen and Robert would plant their first varietals in the Spring of 2001.
With intense enthusiasm and the support of friends and family, a vineyard was established with planting of a variety of grapes with the goal of determining which would do the best in the local climate and soil.
Today, the vineyard holds primarily Aurora and Frontenac grapes. These have proven to be the most productive and hearty of the initial varietals planted, and have found a long term home at the Chateau Dusseau.
Chateau Dusseau is tucked above the Owasco Lake basin; a short drive from any location within Central NY and the Finger Lakes.
